He completed his high-school education in Galatasaray Lycée, and his university education at the Business Administration School of PARIS-SORBONNE University.
After serving for 11 years at management positions under TEKFEN Group of Companies in purchasing, logistics, HR, imports and exports, agriculture, foreign trade and construction operations, in year 1992, he incorporated SODEXO TURKEY as the leading food & beverage and integrated service management enterprise worldwide, assuming the position of its CEO for 20 years.
Throughout his Professional career, Hamamcıoğlu has evidenced his achievements in both operational as well as organizational areas, and always pioneered initiatives, changes in his fields of involvement. Having faith in the essence of perpetual learning and organizations that “learn”, Eşref HAMAMCIOĞLU has reinforced his experiences by attending and completing certificate programs of “Entrepreneurship” at Babson College, Massachusetts, “Leadership and Change Organization” at University of Chicago, and “Marketing Approach” at EMLYON University.
Under framework of both the French Chamber of Commerce that he served for 2 years as Chairman, as well as TÜSİAD (Turkish Association of Industrialists and Businessmen) that he is an active member, and “French operations group” that he is serving also as chairman, he is currently involved with activities concerning economic relations and promotion between Turkey and France. He has been invited several times as speaker by the chambers of industry and commerce of the French cities of Marseille-Lyon-Bordeaux-Toulouse-Lille and Paris, including the French Senate.
Supplementing his intensive business and field experience with his social relations and skill for assuming empathy, at present he is serving as a leader of vision with the assistance of his competent team, various corporations to enable them professional management, profitable growth and become preferred employers and suppliers.
